Ingredients

  • 6 large mushrooms 
  • 1 slice of white bread  
  • 1 slice of salted bacon  
  • 1 clove of garlic  
  • 1/4 onion  
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley  
  • 3cl olive oil  
  • Pepper

Preparation method

Clean the mushrooms, remove stalks and chop finely. Remove the rind from the bacon and dice finely, and then fry in olive oil and leave to dry on kitchen paper. Dice the bread into small cubes (croutons) and do the same as with the bacon. Chop the onion finely and sauté lightly. Next, add the chopped mushroom stalks and crushed garlic. Stir frequently and simmer until all the moisture has evaporated. Add the bacon, croutons, chopped parsley, and pepper to taste. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and garlic. Fill the mushroom caps with this mixture and place in the greased ovenproof dish. Place the dish in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees and cook for 25 minutes.
